Hey there #Scientists, welcome to Week 23 and the continuation of our Revolutions Unit

Day 1
In Class:  Turn in your Scientific Revolution Thinkers Rankings -- Go over the rankings and see who really ranks where.  What did these guys do that was revolutionary?  Who SHOULD be Number 1?

Day 2
In Class: How Industrial is Your Revolution?  What was the Industrial Revolution? Where did it take place?  What makes this era "industrial?"  What is Industrial???

Day 3 & Day 4
In Class: How Industrial is Your Revolution?  -- What made these inventions so "revolutionary" in the 18th and 19th centuries? -- John Green Crash Course Industrial Revolution!

We read about the Industrial Revolution and learning about steam power, the railroad, the use of coal, the mills, and other innovations.  We watched John Green tell us about how blueberries in February, the television, and the car were "Industrial Revolution."  We looked at what industry is and what makes industry "revolutionary."  Now, we will watch the Opening Ceremonies of the 2012 London Olympic Games and answer the following question: 

According to the Opening Ceremonies...
 What was Great Britain like in the beginning? (before the Industrial Rev.)  How did Britain change during the Industrial Revolution and explain these changes based on the video.
