Week 1: What a strange year it has been!
Day 1
In Class: The annual First Day of School Quiz! Good luck studying! :)
HW: In all schools across the nation, students are required to learn basic Language Arts, Mathematics, Sciences, and History. This is common in education in practically every country around the world! Your job is to answer the following Q: Why is it important to study history, in particular the history of the nation one lives in? There is no right or wrong answer. Explain your answer in as much detail as possible. MLA Format, 12 font, Times New Roman, one-inch margins, double spaced... Due by 8 am on Friday, Aug. 21 either in person at school or via e-mail. Please email your document to your social studies teacher if you plan to e-mail the assignment.

In Class: This has been one bizzare year, huh? Well, we plan on beginning the school year looking at some current events that have happened over the past few years that have shaped the world.
