Week 5: April 20-24, 2k20

Welcome back from Passover Break.  Ms. Jordan and Mr. Barry hope you all had an easy and restful Passover.  One of the things Mr. Barry noticed over the past week is how much the media has talked about China's economy and their impact on the world.  After our Globalization/Coronavirus Unit, we noticed that many products are manufactured in China and that this nation has a tremendous global impact on many different levels.

Our next unit over the next two weeks will look at how China went from a vast land of dynastic rule to a modern communist state.  We will also study its ally to its south, North Korea.  Both nations are constantly in the news and we will look at both of their histories!
